As of tomorrow I’ll start blogging on here daily, I’ll write a recap of the day. My main focus will be on eating a paleo diet, exercising and the mental aspects of it all.
How will I stay motivated, how will my body and mind adjust to the new routine.
This first post will also be a reminder to myself on why I want this. Whenever I stray of my chosen path, I’ll have to re-read this post to remind me why I’m doing this. The first couple of days will be easy, but after two or three weeks my motivation will have diminished. And I have to be reminded on why I wanted this in the first place.
So…what is the why? Why am I doing this? The easy answer would be, that I want to loose weight. It all comes down to that. But why do I want to loose weight?
Well…. I want to go clothes shopping in regular stores. I want to run and not being afraid my knees will give out. I want to be faster in the volleyball field. I want to feel beautiful for my wife. I want more confidence about my body. I want to be and feel healthy. I want to overcome my slow thyroid. I want to eat paleo because I believe that is the most healthy diet out there. I want to be in great shape so I can play and take care of my future kid without my body bothering me. I want to keep all my joints, and not have a hip, knee or ankle replacement when I turn 50. I want to “only” have to deal with my thyroid, and not have diabetes added up to that.
I will adopt a healthy lifestyle, and get lean, fast and strong doing it.
I will be following a 1500 calories a day paleo meal plan. And I’ll start doing a Crossfit type bodyweight workout. At the end of each day I’ll write a recap of the day. How did it go, what did I ate (including photos), did I exercise? And how I felt during the day, motivated, tired, or…..? (only time can tell)
